Sultan Murad III

When Respected Pir was in Ushak, Sultan Selim II was the sultan of Ottoman Empire while Shahzade (prince) Murad III, one of the two sons of Sultan Selim, was the governor of Manisa. One day, Shahzade Murad sends a letter to Respected Pir who was in Ushak at that time to ask the future Sultan of the Empire. The postman gets accepted by the Respected Pir in his dergah (dervish house). And, before the postman gives the letter to the Respected Pir and says anything about the purpose of his visit, Respected Pir addresses the postman:

– “Go tell your Shahzade to move to Istanbul. He will be the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire on so and so day.”

Postman returns to Manisa right away and gives the news to the Shahzade. Shahzade Murad III wastes no time and sets off for Istanbul. When he arrives to Balikesir, he comes across the committee which was sent by Sadrazam (Grand Vizier) Sokollu Mehmet Pasha. Shahzade Murad finds out that his father Sultan Selim II fell in the bath and died, Sadrazam hid this death from the people, and he is invited to ascend the throne. And, Sultan Murad III ascends the throne when he arrives to Istanbul.
