BEDREDDİN YAHYA EFENDİ (1952-2012)
Bedreddin Yahya Efendi 1952 yılında Mısır’ın Kahire şehrinde dünyaya geldi.
İslami eğitimine babasının rehberliğinde Kuran-ı Kerim’i ezberleyerek başladı. Babası Şazeli ve Kadiri yollarında yetkili ve başarılı bir rehber idi. Bedreddin Yahya Efendi, babası ve dedesi gibi eğitimine El-Ezher üniversitesinde devam etti. Üniversite öğrenimine devam ederken babasını kaybetti ve amcasının himayesine girdi. Bedrettin Efendi üniversiteden mezun olduktan sonra amcası ile birlikte Suriye’ye taşındılar. Suriye’de Bedrettin Efendi, İmam Eş-Şafi okulunda hadis ve fıkıh dersleri aldı. Burada Şeyh Muhiddin İbn Arabi makamında olan Mevlana Şemseddin Abdülmecid Efendi ile tanıştı. Şemseddin Abdülmecid Efendi, ona tevhidin derin manasını ve bunun kul ve yaratıcı ile olan ilişkisini sordu. Kafası karışan Bedreddin Yahya soruyu cevaplayamayarak Şemseddin Abdülmecid Efendi’den sorunun cevabını açıklamasını istedi. Şemseddin Abdülmecid Efendi, “Bunlar anlatılmaz yaşanır. Eğer itiraz etmeyeceğine ve soru sormayacağına söz verirsen seni O’nun hayret uyandıran heybetli huzuruna göz atmaya götürebilirim.” dedi.
Bunun üzerine Bedreddin Yahya Şam’da, Şemseddin Abdülmecid Efendi’nin müridi oldu. Daha sonra Bedrettin Efendi tekkeyi Diyarbakır’a taşıdı.
Şemseddin Abdülmecid Efendi, Halveti, Kadiri ve Nakşibendi yollarının mürşidi olan Abdurahman Sami Niyazi Efendi’nin öğrencisi idi. Şemseddin Abdülmecid Efendi, Bedreddin Yahya’yı Halvetiyye yolunun Uşşaki kolu usulü ile eğitti. Halveti seyr-i sülüğünü tamamladıktan sonra Bedrettin Yahya Efendi’ye halifelik verildi.
Şemseddin Abdülmecid efendi , babasından ve Abdurahman Sami Niyazi’den aldığı eğitim haricinde Şennusi yolundan Şeyh Hasan ve Şeyh Muhammed İdris Eş-Şennusi (Libya Kralı) Efendi’den de eğitim almıştır. Şemseddin Abdülmecid Efendi’nin vefatından sonra şeyhinin talimatı üzerine Suudi Arabistan’a giden Şeyh Bedreddin Yahya Efendi, burada İmam Ahmed İbn Hanbeli’nin fıkıh metodunu öğrendi.
80’li yılların sonlarında Bedreddin Efendi zamanının bir kısmını Mısır ve Suudi Arabistan’da Hanbeli kitaplarını okuyarak, diğer kısmını da karışıklıklar başlayana kadar Suriye’de geçiriyordu.
Şeyh Bedrettin Yahya Efendi kibar, cömert ve babacan biri olmakla beraber Sünnet-i Seniyye’nin en iyi takipçilerinden idi. İbn Arabi’nin Fususül-Hikem kitabının da yorumcusudur. Bu yorumlar kitap olarak yayınlanmıştır. 22 Ekim 2012 de Hollanda’nın Eindhoven şehrinde altmış yaşında vefat etmiştir.

Shaykh Badruddin Yahya Efendi
The Shaykh Alayhi Rahma was Born in Cairo 1952, he began his Islamic studies under the tutelage of his father by memorizing the Quran. In addition to the outer sciences, he was guided on the Path by his father, who was an authorized and accomplished guide in the Shadhili and Qadri Tariqa’s. Like so many others of his generation, the Shaykh attended the University of Al-Azhar. During his studies there, his father passed away, and he was taken care of by his uncle Shaykh Tariq. After graduating from this prestigious learning-hub in the 70’s, his uncle Shaykh Tariq took the family to Syria. In Syria Shaykh Badreddin held classes in Hadith and the Fiqh according to the school of Imam ash-Shafi’i. It was in Syria that he met Mawlana Shamseddin Abdulmecid Efendi at the Maqam of Shaykh Muhyiddin ibn Arabi. Shamseddin Abdulmecid Efendi had asked him about the deeper realities of Tawhid, and their relation to man and his Creator. Perplexed, and unable to answer his questions, the young scholar asked the Shaykh to explain, to which he replied: “These things are not told, but seen. If you pledge not to object, nor to question me, I shall take you to His Presence, and you shall gaze at the marvels of His Majesty.”
From hereon he became a murid of Mawlana Shamseddin Abdulmecid Effendi , and after performing seclusion (khalwa) in Damascus at his instructions, Shaykh Badreddin Efendi relocated to the Tekke (Sufi Center) in Diyarbakir, Turkey. Mawlana Shamseddin Abdulmecid Efendi had been a student of Shaykh Abdur-Rrahman Samiyi al-Saruhani of the Khalwati, Qadiri and Naqshbandi orders, and he trained Shaykh Badreddin accordingly based on the methods of the Ussaki branch of the Khalwatiyya. After completing the Divine Names as prescribed by the Khalwati masters, he bestowed the Crown of Guidance with full khilafah upon Shaykh Badreddin.
In addition of receiving his training under Shaykh Abdur-Rahman al-Saruhani and his own father, Shaykh Shamseddin Abdulmecid Efendi had also received additional guidance from two masters of the Senussi order, namely Shaykh Hassan, who had been a student and fighter under the banner of the Shaykh of the Shuhada, Umar Mukhtar; and Shaykh Shaykh Muhammad Idris as-Senussi, the King of Libya.
He was a kind, generous and fatherly figure, and a strict observer of the Sunnah. He is the author of a commentary on Ibn Arabi’s Fusus al-Hikam, which is published.In Eindhoven, the Netherlands, on the 6th of Dhul-Hijjah (22nd October 2012), the Exemplary Guide, the Knower of Allah, Shaykh Badruddin Yahya Efendi stopped his breathing exercises only to return to his Lord.
